Luc is responsible for driving the next chapter of growth for RAK Digital Assets Oasis, a leading hub for web3 innovation and talent from around the globe. Luc is a seasoned regulated capital markets expert and an early evangelist of the institutional adoption of digital assets. After having held trading and investment roles in the fixed income space with leading global incumbents across Europe and Asia, Luc’s foray into financial innovation came in early 2017 and included involvement with the World Economic Forum initiative to assess the impact of the blockchain technology on the capital markets’ value chain. Luc went on to author several whitepapers on different aspects of cryptocurrencies and stablecoins in terms of governance, interoperability, liquidity and macroeconomic impact. Luc is fascinated about the role of digital assets in democratizing access to financial services and fostering financial inclusion. After having worked with major financial institutions such as Credit Suisse, MUFG Bank and Manulife Asset Management, Luc was the global head of digital asset solutions at Fidelity International, based in Hong Kong, before he took on his role at RAK DAO in 2024. Luc serves as a strategic advisor and an independent board member for several blockchain companies in the tokenization and stablecoin ecosystems. Luc has also been serving as a guest faculty at the University of St. Gallen, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology among others. Luc completed a Master of Science in Blockchain and Digital Currency and several other academic programs in blockchain and machine learning. Luc is a certified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and completed his Master’s Degree in Economics and Business Administration at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.
