Sheraz Shere is the Head of Payments at Solana Foundation, responsible for the incubation of new protocols and standards for payments on Solana. Previously, Sheraz was a leader for AI and machine learning services on Google Cloud’s Professional Services team. He also worked for six years as head of partnerships for Google Wallet and head of sales and business development for Google Checkout. He co-founded two companies, one an AI/ML company and one a fintech/adtech company, and he spent eight years at American Express. Sheraz has master’s degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, and Princeton University and an industrial engineering degree from the University of Manitoba.
